Some people got lucky.
They were born with great blood sugar control, with robust joints, with never-greying hair, with full muscle bellies, and an easy time burning fat.
Some people got unlucky.
They were born to a drug-addicted mother and an alcoholic father, suffering genetic dysfunctions and living under an environment which never allowed their condition to be treated.
Remember that evolution gets things wrong sometimes, and that genetics do play a significant role in many things.
Remember also that lucky fools, by definition, don’t know how lucky they are.
Finally, remember that lucky fools have no bearing on what you do in the future.
